Brooks Fleming is a Principal at Blue Owl and member of the Compliance Team. In his role, he focuses on supporting the firm’s Real Estate businesses.
Before joining Blue Owl, Brooks was an Executive Director and Broker-Dealer Chief Compliance Officer at GCM Grosvenor, a global alternatives asset manager. Prior to that, he was the Head of the U.S. Control Room at Citadel LLC, where he oversaw event driven reporting, managed the firmwide restricted list, and advised on MNPI related matters. He also held positions of Assistant General Counsel and Compliance Officer while at Citadel. Brooks began his career as a Compliance Examiner at the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA).
Brooks received his JD from IIT Chicago-Kent College of Law and holds a dual BA in Economics and Political Science from Indiana University.
Adam Forchheimer is a Managing Director at Blue Owl and member of the Direct Lending Investment Team. Adam is the Head of Portfolio Management, focusing on credit risk management and oversight of the entire portfolio of direct lending investments.
Before joining Blue Owl, Adam was a Managing Director at Credit Suisse in each of the Leveraged Finance departments where he ran the Bridge Finance Group and in the Asset Management division where he was the U.S. Portfolio Manager for a distressed credit winddown fund. Adam began his career as a securities and banking attorney at the law firm of Cravath, Swaine & Moore LLP.
Adam received a JD from Harvard Law School and holds a BS with Honors in Industrial and Labor Relations from Cornell University.
Justin Frantzreb is a Principal at Blue Owl and member of the Finance, Accounting & Operations Team. In his role, he focuses on supporting the firm’s alternative credit business.
Before joining Blue Owl, Justin was the Director of Operations and Treasury at Atalaya Capital Management, the predecessor firm to Blue Owl’s Alternative Credit team. Prior to that, he was an Associate at Cerberus Capital Management LP, focused on CLO Compliance, Bank Debt and Trade Operations. Justin began his career at Morrison & Foerster LLP.
Justin received his BA in International Economics, from The George Washington University (Elliott School of International Affairs).
Allie Fuss is a Principal at Blue Owl and member of the Liquid Credit Investment Team. In her role, she focuses on trading broadly syndicated leveraged loans on behalf of both the Liquid and Private Credit strategies.
Before joining Blue Owl, Allie was a Director at CBAM Partners, a CLO manager founded in 2016 that was acquired by The Carlyle Group in 2022. She started her career on the Leveraged Loan trading desk at Morgan Stanley.
Allie received her BA in Economics from Johns Hopkins University, where she graduated as a member of Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society.
Michael Gabriel is a Principal at Blue Owl and member of the GP Strategic Capital Investment Team. In his role, he focuses on evaluating investment opportunities, and underwriting equity and financing transactions for the GP Strategic Capital Investment Team.
He joined in 2015 from Deutsche Bank’s Mergers & Acquisitions group, where he advised corporate clients and financial sponsors on the evaluation and execution of transactions.
Michael earned an MBA from New York University’s Stern School of Business, and a BA from the College of the Holy Cross. Michael also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
Roberto Garibay is a Principal at Blue Owl and member of the Finance, Accounting & Operations Team. In his role, he focuses on supporting data integrity, asset & cash reconciliations, and valuations for the firm’s insurance solutions business.
Before joining Blue Owl, Roberto performed the same role at Kuvare Asset Management, predecessor to Blue Owl Insurance Solutions. Prior to that, Roberto was an Insurance Client Service & On-Boarding Specialist at Guggenheim Partners Investment Management, LLC and an Accounting Manager at CNA Insurance within the Investment and Finance areas.
Roberto received his BS in Accounting, Beta Gamma Sigma, from the University of Illinois at Chicago.
Chris Gates is a Managing Director at Blue Owl and member of the Institutional Business Development Team. In his role, he focuses on developing partnerships with institutional investors.
Before joining Blue Owl, Chris was Head of Marketing and Investor Relations at Marblegate Asset Management, a distressed debt investment firm. Prior to that, he was a Managing Director at Tricadia Capital Management, a multi-strategy credit hedge fund, where he was responsible for leading the institutional business development effort. Prior to that, Chris was a member of the institutional sales team at Mariner Investment Group, where he oversaw the internal business development group. Earlier in his career, he was a member of the institutional marketing and client service group at Bear Stearns Asset Management.
Chris received his BA in American Studies from Colby College, and holds the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst designation.
Grant Gaughrin is a Principal at Blue Owl and member of the Real Estate Investment Team. In his role, he focuses on capital markets and sourcing new investments.
Before joining Blue Owl, Grant began his career as an Investment Banking Analyst in the Financial Institutions Group at Keefe Bruyette & Woods, a Stifel company.
Grant received his BA in Economics, from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
Tim Gaven is a Managing Director at Blue Owl and member of the Investor Operations Team. In his role, Tim serves as the Head of Investor Services.
Before joining Blue Owl, Tim was a Manager at the Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC), a financial services industry utility in Jersey City. Tim began his career as a Project Analyst at Bank of America Merrill Lynch.
Tim received a BA in Political Science with minors in Economics & International Business from Ramapo College of New Jersey.
Kimberly Genes is a Principal at Blue Owl and member of the Finance, Accounting & Operations Team. In her role, she focuses on the coordination and execution of the firm’s financial close process, including financial reporting and consolidation, as well as management of day-to-day accounting operations.
Before joining Blue Owl, Kimberly was the North America Controller for Recordati Rare Diseases, a private-equity backed biotech company with a focus on endocrinology and oncology diseases. Prior to that, she was an Associate Director at Apollo Global Management, responsible for management company controllership with a specific focus on the Private Equity and Real Estate segments. Kimberly began her career as an auditor at PricewaterhouseCoopers.
Kimberly received her BS in Accounting, magna cum laude, from Marist College and holds a CPA license in the state of New Jersey.
