Shabbir Karim is a Managing Director at Blue Owl and member of the Finance, Accounting & Operations Team. In his role, he focuses on supporting the firm’s Direct Lending Private Credit Business.
Prior to joining Blue Owl in 2022, Shabbir was a Vice President at Strategic Value Partners, where he served as a Controller in the Fund Accounting Group and was responsible for the accounting and reporting for various Alternative Investment Funds. Prior to that, Shabbir was a Senior Manager at PwC, where he worked within the Financial Services practice specializing in audits of alternative investment funds.
Shabbir received a BS in Accounting from the University of Connecticut and is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in Connecticut.
Bob Karner is a Managing Director at Blue Owl and member of the Commercial Real Estate Team. In his role, he focuses on supporting management of the CMBS portfolio as well as management of construction loans, fund investments and leased fee financing.
Before joining Blue Owl, Bob was a Managing Director at Kuvare Asset Management, the predecessor to Blue Owl Insurance Solutions. Prior to Kuvare Asset Management, Bob spent over ten years at both Annaly Capital Management and Morgan Stanley.
Bob sits on the Advisory Board of the Graaskamp Center for Real Estate at the University of Wisconsin and previously served on the board for the Commerical Real Estate Finance Council. Bob received a BBA in Finance and an MS in Real Estate from the University of Wisconsin.
Aneesh Kelkar is a Principal at Blue Owl and member of the Alternative Credit Investment Team. In his role, he focuses on sourcing, underwriting, executing and managing investments, with a focus on equipment-backed transactions.
Before joining Blue Owl, Aneesh was a Principal at Atalaya Capital Management, the predecessor firm to Blue Owl's Alternative Credit team. Prior to Atalaya, Aneesh was a Director in the Financial Institutions Group at UBS investment Bank, where he advised on mergers, acquisitions and capital markets transactions for the firm's specialty finance and depository clients.
Aneesh received his BA in Economics with a concentration in Finance from Vanderbilt University.
Brendan Kelly is a Managing Director at Blue Owl and member of the Business Services Platform. As part of the Corporate Strategy & M&A advisory practice, he is focused on advising GP Strategic Capital Partner Managers on a wide array of strategic growth and product development initiatives.
Before joining Blue Owl, he was a Partner at White Oak Equity Partners, where he led origination and execution of GP stake investments. Prior to White Oak, Brendan was an Equity Partner and Vice President at Berkshire Global. Before Berkshire Global, he was a member of the New Investments Team at Affiliated Managers Group (AMG). Brendan began his career at Lehman Brothers in the Investment Management Division.
Brendan received a BA from Middlebury College with a focus in Economics. He also received an MBA with a focus in Finance and Accounting from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, where he graduated with honors as a Palmer Scholar.
William Kelly is a Principal at Blue Owl and member of the Finance, Accounting & Operations Team. In his role, he focuses on finance and operations for Blue Owl's GP Strategic Capital platform.
Before joining Blue Owl, William was a Senior Vice President within the PE Finance GP Reporting group at Neuberger Berman. William began his career as a fund accountant at State Street.
William received his MBA in Management and a BS in Accounting from St. Thomas Aquinas College.
Dan Khouri is a Managing Director at Blue Owl and member of the Alternative Credit Investment Team. In his role, he is focused on asset-based investments in specialty finance and fintech.
Before joining Blue Owl, Dan was a Managing Director at Atalaya Capital Management, the predecessor firm to Blue Owl’s Alternative Credit team. Prior to that, he was a Partner and led US Credit at Pollen Street Capital, an alternative asset manager based in London. Preceding that, Dan was Co-Head of Private Credit at Colchis Capital and worked in Private Credit at D.B. Zwirn & Co., TTM Capital and White Oak Global Advisors. Dan began his career as an Analyst in the Capital Markets Division at Citigroup.
Dan received his BA in Economics and BSE in Systems Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania.
Krishna Kilambi is a Principal at Blue Owl and member of the Finance, Accounting & Operations Team. In his role, he leads the real estate corporate finance team across all closed-end and open-ended funds and is primarily focused on corporate finance, capital markets, strategy, hedging, and valuations.
Before joining Blue Owl, Krishna was a Director within the real estate investment banking group at Mizuho and an Associate Director within the real estate investment banking group at Scotiabank. Prior to that, Krishna was a Director at KPMG providing real estate advisory services. Krishna began his career at UBS investment bank in the real estate investment banking.
Krishna received a BS in Engineering from NIT Warangal in India and an MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
Andrew Kim is a Managing Director at Blue Owl and member of the Direct Lending Investment Team. In his role, he focuses on underwriting and monitoring investments across a variety of industries.
Before joining Blue Owl, Andrew was a Senior Associate at The Carlyle Group. Prior to that, he was an Associate at Oaktree Capital Management. Andrew began his career as an Investment Banking Analyst at Goldman, Sachs & Co. and Jefferies & Company.
Andrew received his BSc in Commerce and Economics from the University of Virginia.
Grace Kim is a Managing Director at Blue Owl and member of the Investment Grade Private Credit Investment Team. In her role, she is responsible for structured credit investments, with a focus in CLO investing. Before joining Blue Owl, Grace was a Managing Director at Kuvare Asset Management, predecessor to Blue Owl Insurance Solutions.
Prior to that, she was a Principal at Apollo Global Management in the Structured Credit team responsible for structured credit investments. Grace began her career as an Analyst at Deutsche Bank in the Lender Finance team structuring and underwriting asset-backed warehouse transactions.
Grace received her B.S. in Industrial Engineering and Operations Research from Columbia University.
Jeong Kim is a Principal at Blue Owl and member of the Business Services Platform. In her role, Jeong is part of the Capital Strategy practice providing fundraising advisory and client development support to GP Strategic Capital Partner Managers. She is responsible for managing relationship with institutional investors, private wealth management platforms, family offices and consultants in Asia Pacific.
Before joining Blue Owl, Jeong was a member of the Investor Relations team at HarbourVest Partners, focusing on institutional marketing and client services. Prior to that, she held similar Investor Relations roles at PAG, an alternative investment firm based in Hong Kong, and Macquarie Asset Management. Jeong began her career as an Analyst at Cogent Partners, Greenhill's Secondary Capital Advisory team.
Jeong received a BS in Economics with a concentration in Finance from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. She is native in Korean.
