Matthew Kim is a Principal at Blue Owl and member of the Liquid Credit Investment Team. In his role, he focuses on investments in broadly syndicated loans and non-investment grade credit within the Telecom, Media and Technology sector.
Before joining Blue Owl, Matt was a Senior Research Analyst at Millennium Management, where he focused on high yield, distressed credit and convertible bonds across a variety of sectors including TMT, Healthcare and Consumer Cyclicals. Prior to that, he was a Research Analyst at Benefit Street Partners, where he focused on credit investments within the Telecom, Media and Technology sector. Matt began his career as an Investment Banking Analyst at Wells Fargo Securities.
Matt graduated from Wake Forest University with a BS in Finance.
Nicole Klotz is a Principal at Blue Owl and member of the Private Wealth Team. In her role, she oversees relationships across multiple wealth channels in the Great Lakes Region.
Prior to her role at Blue Owl, she was a Managing Director on the US Wealth team at the London-based hedge fund Man Group and a Financial Advisor at Morgan Stanley focused on providing Alternative Investment solutions for High Net Worth investors.
Nicole graduated from Purdue University in West Lafayette, IN with a focus in Pre-Law and Business Spanish. She has also studied in both Chiapas, Mexico and Madrid, Spain in various Study Abroad programs.
Brad Koechling is a Principal at Blue Owl and member of the Finance, Accounting & Operations Team. In his role, Brad serves as a Controller for the Alternative Credit platform.
Before joining Blue Owl, Brad was a Controller at Atalaya Capital Management, the predecessor firm to Blue Owl’s Alternative Credit team. Prior to that, Brad was a Director and Controller in the Multi-Strategy group at Angelo Gordon, a global alternative asset manager based in New York. Brad began his career as an auditor in the asset management practice of Deloitte & Touche.
Brad received a BS in Accounting from the University of Richmond and is a CPA licensed in the state of New York.
Dan Kosydar is a Principal at Blue Owl and member of the Finance, Accounting & Operations Team. In his role, he focuses on supporting the firm’s short and long-term forecasting and planning processes.
Before joining Blue Owl, Dan was a Vice President at Brookfield Properties in the Hospitality Real Estate Group. Prior to that, he was a Vice President at Watermark Lodging Trust, a non-traded REIT focused on high-quality hotel assets. Dan began his career at W.P. Carey, Inc. in various FP&A and Corporate Finance roles.
Dan received his BS in Finance and Business Administration, from King’s College.
Karin Kringen is a Managing Director at Blue Owl and member of the Legal Team. In her role, she focuses on providing legal advice relating to capital markets/financing, SEC reporting, corporate governance and investor relations.
Before joining Blue Owl, Karin was in-house capital markets counsel at Wells Fargo, Credit Suisse and Deutsche Bank. Karin began her career as an Associate at Milbank LLP.
Karin received her JD from the University of Michigan Law School and holds a BA in Economics and Government, cum laude, from Smith College.
Ken Kroszner is a Managing Director at Blue Owl and member of the Liquid Credit Investment Team. In his role, he is responsible for structured credit investing and liquid credit financing.
Before joining Blue Owl, Ken was a member of the performing credit team at Littlejohn & Co. as a structured credit portfolio manager. Prior to that, he was responsible for managing CLO tranche investments and CMBS analysis at Bayview Asset Management. Ken began his career at Royal Bank of Scotland where he published securitized credit research and assisted in the origination and trading of CLOs.
Ken received his BS in Finance from the University of Connecticut.
Young Kwon is a Managing Director at Blue Owl and member of the Liquid Credit Investment Team. In his role, he focuses on investments in broadly syndicated non-investment grade leveraged loans within the industrials, aerospace & defense, transportation & logistics and metals & mining sectors.
Before joining Blue Owl, Young was a Senior Vice President at Alcentra, a global high yield and leverage loan focused asset manager. Prior to that, he was an Associate Portfolio Manager and Senior Research Analyst at Lord Abbett & Co., a $200bn+ mutual fund manager. Young also spent time as a desk and publishing research analyst at Barclays Capital covering high yield debt.
Young received his MBA from the University of Michigan Ross School of Business and BA in International Relations from Tufts University.
Ed Labrenz is a Managing Director at Blue Owl and member of the Structured Products and Fund Finance Team. Based in Greenwich, CT. he focuses on supporting the Firm’s Structured Products and Fund Finance activity.
Prior to joining Blue Owl, Edward was the Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer at Par-Four Investment Management, LLC where he was responsible for the financial, operational and regulatory actions of the Firm. This included the development, implementation and oversight of policies, procedures and systems utilized in managing a platform of alternative funds and CLOs. Prior to joining Par-Four, Ed started his career at Paloma Partners, a diversified muti-strategy hedge fund, as Vice President in their accounting department.
Ed graduated with honors from Mount Saint Mary College with a BS in accounting.
Sohail Lalani is a Managing Director at Blue Owl and member of the GP Strategic Capital Investment Team. In his role, Sohail focuses on sourcing and evaluating minority investments in private markets GPs as well as working closely with key LPs on strategic partnership opportunities.
Before joining Blue Owl, Sohail was the Founder and Managing Partner of Eglinton Capital Partners, a Canadian based growth equity investment firm. Prior to that, he was a senior member of the Private Equity (Direct Investments) team of PSP Investments, one of Canada’s largest pension funds based in Montreal. Sohail also spent a decade at the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority (ADIA) based in Abu Dhabi, where he was responsible for sourcing, executing, and monitoring co-investment and direct investment transactions in partnership with leading US and European GPs. Sohail began his career in investment banking at J.P. Morgan and TD Securities.
He holds an MBA with Distinction from London Business School and HBA (Dean’s List) from the Ivey Business School at Western University.
Jonathan Lamm is a Managing Director at Blue Owl and the Chief Financial Officer, Credit. In his role, Jonathan serves as the Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer of each of Blue Owl Capital Corporation, Blue Owl Technology Finance Corp. and Blue Owl Technology Finance Corp. II, Chief Financial Officer of each of Blue Owl Capital Corporation II and Blue Owl Capital Corporation III and Vice President of each of Blue Owl Credit Income Corp. and Blue Owl Technology Income Corp. Jonathan is a member of the firm's Operating Committee as well as the Credit platform’s Operating and Valuation Committees.
Prior to joining Blue Owl, Jonathan served as the Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer of Goldman Sachs BDC, Inc. (GSBD), a business development company traded on the New York Stock Exchange. Jonathan was responsible for building and overseeing GSBD's finance, treasury, accounting and operations functions from April 2013 through March 2021, including during its initial public offering in March 2015. During his time at Goldman Sachs, Jonathan also served as Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer of Goldman Sachs Private Middle Market Credit LLC, Goldman Sachs Private Middle Market Credit II LLC and Goldman Sachs Middle Market Lending Corp. prior to the completion of its merger with GSBD in October 2020. Throughout his twenty-two years at Goldman Sachs, Jonathan held various positions. From 2013 to 2021, Jonathan served as Managing Director, Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer at GSAM Credit Alternatives. From 2007 to 2013, Jonathan served as Vice President, Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer at GSAM Credit Alternatives. From 2005 to 2007, Jonathan served as Vice President in the Financial Reporting group and, from 1999 to 2005, he served as a Product Controller. Prior to joining Goldman Sachs, Jonathan worked in public accounting at Deloitte & Touche.
Jonathan graduated from Queens College, City University, New York and is a certified public accountant.
