Allison Benjamin is a Principal at Blue Owl and member of the Legal Team. In her role, she focuses on providing legal counsel in connection with the firm’s investments and fund formation.
Before joining Blue Owl, she was Senior Counsel at Atalaya Capital Management, the predecessor firm to Blue Owl’s Alternative Credit team. Prior to that, she was the General Counsel at Dorilton Capital Management, a private equity investment firm, where she was responsible for all of its mergers and acquisitions. She also advised on a variety of corporate transactional matters at Locke Lord LLP. Allison began her career as a corporate associate at Duane Morris LLP.
Allison received her JD from Brooklyn Law School and holds a BA in Political Science from Emory University.
Joe Berardelli is a Managing Director at Blue Owl and the Head of Technology Infrastructure. Based in New York, he is focused on managing and implementing all technology offerings for the firm.
Before joining Blue Owl, Joe was an Associate and Senior Systems Engineer at IA Interior Architects, a global design and architectural firm. Prior to that, he was an IT Manager at Babcock & Brown, an alternate investment and advisory firm.
Joe received a degree in Network Engineering from the Chubb Institute.
Marla Berger is a Principal at Blue Owl and member of the Legal Team. In her role, she is responsible for all Blue Owl Insurance Services debt origination. She represents the team during the entire loan cycle. She also focuses on all types of complex commercial lending transactions.
Before joining Blue Owl, Marla was the Head of Legal for Commercial Mortgage Lending at Kuvare Asset Management, the predecessor to Blue Owl Insurance Solutions. Before that, she was a Managing Director and Senior Vice President at GMAC Commercial Mortgage, the predecessor to Capmark Finance, Inc. Marla held several positions while there, including Head of Underwriting and Closing, COO of the company's Lending Group and Head of Client Relations and Portfolio Management. She began her career as an attorney at the New York law firm of Thacher Proffitt & Wood where she became an equity partner.
Marla earned her JD from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor and received her BS in Psychology, magna cum laude, from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign.
Diana Bergman is a Principal at Blue Owl and member of the Structured Products and Fund Finance Team. Based in New York, she is focused on arranging bilateral and syndicated lending facilities for Blue Owl's BDCs and Private Funds.
Before joining Blue Owl, Diana was a Vice President at Barclays where she helped launch the middle market CLO business. Prior to that, she was a Vice President at Natixis where she was responsible for structuring CLO warehouses and transactions. Diana began her career as an analyst at Citigroup on the mortgage sales desk.
Diana received a BA in Economics and French with a concentration in Mathematics and Statistics from Amherst College.
Dana Berschler is a Principal at Blue Owl and member of the Compliance Team. In her role, she focuses on providing Investment Compliance related coverage to Credit, GP Strategic Capital and Real Estate.
Before joining Blue Owl, Dana was a Vice President in the Corporate and Investment Banking group at Wells Fargo in New York. Prior to that, she was a Vice President and Senior Compliance Officer at Goldman Sachs & Co. Dana began her career as a Compliance Analyst at Goldman Sachs.
Dana received her BA in History from Syracuse University.
Saurabh Bhatia is a Principal at Blue Owl and member of the Finance, Accounting & Operations Team. In his role, he focuses on strategically implementing solutions to enhance efficiency and automate processes within the financial applications suite.
Before joining Blue Owl, Saurabh served as a consultant specializing in financial applications, providing expertise in implementing ERP systems, business process optimization, and advising on best practices. Saurabh began his career as an applications engineer.
He holds an MBA, magna cum laude, from Kennesaw State University and holds a BS from DeVry University in Electronics Engineering.
Erik Bissonnette is a Managing Director at Blue Owl and member of the Direct Lending Investment Team. Erik is also Co-Head of Technology Investing and a member of the Investment Committee for Blue Owl Technology Credit Advisors. In his role, he oversees strategies with over $16 billion in AUM, focused on making debt and equity investments in established enterprise software and technology companies.
Prior to joining Blue Owl, Erik was a Managing Director and Head of Technology Leveraged Finance at Capital Source from 2009 to 2017. Preceding Capital Source, Erik was an investor at ABS Capital Partners, and worked in investment banking at Wachovia Securities and Bank of America Securities.
Erik received a BA in Economics with a double major in English from Wake Forest University.
Chris Bott is a Principal at Blue Owl and member of the Finance, Accounting & Operations Team. In his role, he is primarily focused on accounting policy and financial diligence for M&A activities.
Before joining Blue Owl, Chris worked as a Director in AIG’s office of accounting policy. At AIG, Chris led the team responsible for all technical matters related to investments, asset management and M&A. Chris began his career as an auditor at PwC and BDO.
Chris received a BS in Accounting from Kutztown University and is a Certified Public Accountant in New Jersey.
Joshua Bouaziz is a Principal at Blue Owl and member of the Compliance Team. In his role, he focuses on supporting the Compliance Strategy and Operations team.
Before joining Blue Owl, Josh was a Vice President and Senior Compliance Officer at Goldman Sachs.
Josh received his JD from The George Washington University Law School and holds a BA in Philosophy from The University of Maryland.
Hugh Boyle is a Managing Director at Blue Owl and member of the Institutional Business Development Team. In his role, he focuses on Institutional Business Development initiatives for the Blue Owl Strategic Equity strategy.
Before joining Blue Owl, Hugh was a Managing Director at Onex where he focused on institutional fundraising across the platform. Prior to that, he was a Principal at Investcorp and a Vice President at MatlinPatterson, Voya Asset Management, and NorthCoast Asset Management in various client-facing roles. Hugh began his career as an Associate in the Private Wealth Division at the Royal Bank of Canada.
Hugh serves on the board of Open Doors, a non-profit committed to homelessness prevention in Norwalk, CT. Hugh received a BA degree in Politics and Government from Ohio Wesleyan University.
