Eddie Sohn is a Managing Director at Blue Owl and member of the Finance, Accounting & Operations Team. In his role, he focuses on finance, accounting and operations for the Blue Owl Strategic Equity funds.
Prior to joining Blue Owl in 2023, Eddie was a Director at Guggenheim Partners within their private credit business based in Los Angeles. Before that, Eddie was a Senior Associate at PwC in the assurance asset management group.
Eddie received his M.S. and B.S. in Accounting from New York University Stern School of Business.
Anna Song is a Principal at Blue Owl and member of the Liquid Credit Investment Team. In her role, she focuses on investments in broadly syndicated non-investment grade leveraged loans within the Financials and Business Services sectors.
Before joining Blue Owl, Anna was a Credit Analyst at Sound Point Capital, a credit asset management firm based in New York. Anna began her career at Och-Ziff Capital Management, in the Institutional Credit Strategies platform in both New York and London.
Anna received her BA, magna cum laude, in International Relations, from the University of Pennsylvania.
Ben Spector is a Managing Director at Blue Owl and member of the Alternative Credit Investment Team. In his role, he serves as COO of the Financial Assets Team, managing day-to-day operations and overseeing strategic initiatives.
Prior to Blue Owl, Ben was a Director at Atalaya Capital Management, the predecessor firm to Blue Owl's Alternative Credit team from 2015 to 2024. Prior to that, he was a Senior Associate at Tiger Bay Advisors, a boutique asset management consulting firm. Ben began his career as a Management Associate at Bridgewater Associates.
Ben received his BA in Public Policy Analysis and Biology from Pomona College.
Matt Spiro is a Managing Director at Blue Owl and member of the Alternative Credit Investment Team. In his role, he is responsible for sourcing, structuring and executing opportunistic credit investments across the Alternative Credit platform, including corporate debt/structured equity opportunities, litigation driven investments, and portfolio purchases. Additionally, Matt is responsible for various strategic initiatives across the Alternative Credit platform. He sits on the Investment Committee for several funds on the Alternative Credit platform, including the Special Opportunities Fund.
Prior to joining Blue Owl, Matt was a Managing Director at Atalaya Capital Management, the predecessor firm to Blue Owl's Alternative Credit team, where held a similar role. Prior to this, he was an analyst with the Candlewood Investment Group LP and an executive director with JPMorgan Alternative Asset Management.
Matt received a BS with University Honors in Computational Finance from Carnegie Mellon University and is a CFA Charterholder.
Lukas Spiss is a Managing Director at Blue Owl and member of the Direct Lending Investment Team. In his role, he focuses on originating and structuring investments across the capital structure and across industries.
Prior to joining Blue Owl in 2016, Lukas spent almost ten years at Partners Group, where he focused on sourcing and underwriting credit investments in North America. From 2015 to 2016 Lukas also served as member of Partners Group’s Private Debt Investment Committee. Prior to that, in 2006, Lukas was an Analyst at Lehman Brothers’ Investment Banking Division in Switzerland. Currently, Lukas serves as a Director of PCF Insurance Services.
Lukas received a Doctorate in Banking and Corporate Finance from the University of St. Gallen (HSG) and an MA (Hons) in International Business from the University of Edinburgh.
Alexa Stanley is a Principal at Blue Owl and member of the Finance, Accounting & Operations Team. Based in New York, she is focused on public investor engagement for Blue Owl's Business Development Companies (BDCs).
Before joining Blue Owl, Alexa was a Vice President in the Equity Capital Markets group at RBC Capital Markets covering the Energy and Power & Utilities sectors.
Alexa received a BA in Economics and a double major in Hispanic Studies from Davidson College, where she graduated with honors.
Barbara Stevens is a Principal at Blue Owl and member of the Legal Team. In her role, she focuses on enterprise vendor contracting, data privacy and security, technology, corporate real estate and intellectual property across Blue Owl’s global affiliates.
Before joining Blue Owl, Barbara was a Vice President and Corporate Counsel at Prudential Financial. Prior to that, she was an Associate General Counsel at MetLife and an Assistant General Counsel at UBS.
Barbara received her JD from NYU Law School and holds a MS degree in adult health care management and a BSN degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Nursing.
Johan Stromberg is a Managing Director at Blue Owl and member of the Institutional Business Development Team. In his role, he focuses on building the firm’s footprint and asset base in the Nordic region for the Institutional Business Development team.
Before joining Blue Owl, Johan was Head of Business Development, Nordics at Arcmont Asset Management, a leading European Direct Lending firm. Prior to that, he was a Managing Director at Bank of New York Investment Management and CEO of the Swedish Branch. Johan began his career as an Investment Banking Analyst at HSBC.
Johan received his MSc in Financial Economics from the University of Lund in Sweden.
Bharath Subramanian is a Managing Director at Blue Owl and member of the Alternative Credit Investment Team. In his role he is responsible for sourcing, underwriting, executing, and managing asset and equity investments in financial services businesses.
Prior to joining Blue Owl, Bharath was at Atalaya Capital Management, the predecessor firm to Blue Owl's Alternative Credit team. Prior to that, Bharath was a senior investment professional at Bayview Asset Management focused on private equity and special situations investing, and was an initial senior hire to support the firm's expanded mandate. Previously, he was a Partner at Capital Z Partners where he completed multiple financial services private equity transactions across the US, UK, and Bermuda and served on the Board of several portfolio companies. He began his career as an Investment Banker in the FIG team at HSBC Securities.
He holds a BA in Economics, summa cum laude, from Vanderbilt University
Sean Sullivan is a Managing Director at Blue Owl and member of the Real Estate Investment Team. In his role, Sean is a member of the Investment Committee and focuses on sourcing and structuring net lease investments. Sean also contributes to due diligence and capital markets efforts.
Before joining Blue Owl Sean was a Vice President at Piper Sandler. Prior to that he was an Associate at Keefe, Bruyette & Woods, an investment bank focused on providing M&A and capital markets advisory to companies that operate in the financial services sector.
Sean received a BS in Business Administration from Babson College as well as a Masters in Real Estate from Georgetown University.
