Matt Swatt is a Managing Director at Blue Owl and member of the Finance, Accounting & Operations Team. In his role, Matt serves as the Co-Chief Accounting Officer of OBDC II, OBDC III, OCIC and OTIC, and as Co-Treasurer and Co-Controller of each of the Blue Owl Business Development Committees (BDCs).

Prior to joining Owl Rock Capital Partners, the predecessor firm to Blue Owl’s Credit platform, in May 2016, Matt was an Assistant Controller at Guggenheim Partners in their Private Credit group, where he was responsible for the finance, accounting, and financial reporting functions. Preceding that role, Matt worked within the Financial Services --Alternative Investments practice of PwC where he specialized in financial reporting, fair valuation of illiquid investments and structured products, internal controls and other technical accounting matters pertaining to alternative investment advisors, hedge funds, business development companies and private equity funds. 

Matt received a BS in Accounting from the University of Maryland and is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in New York.

Matthew Talbot is a Principal at Blue Owl and member of the GP Strategic Capital Investment Team. In his role, he focuses on strategic initiatives across the GP Strategic Capital platform and the ongoing monitoring and valuation of its partner manager investments.

Before joining Blue Owl, Matt was a Senior Associate in EY’s Financial Services Office, focusing on private equity and hedge fund sponsors.

Matt received his MBA from Fordham University and holds a BA in Economics and Accounting from the College of the Holy Cross.

Dennis Talley is a Managing Director at Blue Owl and member of the Liquid Credit Investment Team. In his role, he focuses on investments in broadly syndicated non-investment grade leveraged loans.

Before joining Blue Owl, Dennis was Co-head of the performing leveraged loan business at Littlejohn & Co., a middle-market private equity fund based in Greenwich. Prior to that, he was a founding member and Portfolio Manager at Redan Park Asset Management and Doral Leveraged Asset Management. Dennis began his career, in the leveraged finance group at Bear, Stearns & Co. and in the leveraged finance, syndicated finance and corporate credit groups at Bank of America Securities.

Dennis received his BS in Finance and Economics, with honors, from the University of Maryland.

Franky Tam is a Principal at Blue Owl and member of the Private Wealth Team. In his role, he focuses on supporting the firm's Private Wealth business development in Asia.

Before joining Blue Owl, Franky was General Manager of China at Aegon Asset Management. Prior to that, he was a Vice President at Neuberger Berman's Institutional and Retail business development for China and Hong Kong.

Franky received his BSc from the University of Hong Kong and an MBA from HKUST Business School. Franky is a CFA charter holder.

Marcus Tang is a Principal at Blue Owl and member of the Compliance Team. In his role, he supports the international compliance effort at Blue Owl. 

Before joining Blue Owl, Marcus was a Compliance Officer at LMR Partners, a global multi-strategy hedge fund, for their London and Hong Kong offices.  Prior to that, he was a Fund Oversight Senior Analyst at Fidelity International.  Marcus previously worked as a Compliance Analyst at Point72 and began his career as a Graduate Trainee at the Hong Kong financial regulator, the Securities and Futures Commission.

Marcus received his BBA (Economics) from the University of Science and Technology.

Julia Tcherkassova is a Managing Director at Blue Owl and member of the Finance, Accounting & Operations Team. In her role, she is responsible for client reporting, including the preparation of the firm’s quarterly financial statements, consultant questionnaires, audit and performance reporting.

Before joining Blue Owl, Julia was the Chief Financial Officer at Prima Capital Advisors, the predecessor firm to Blue Owl’s Real Estate Finance strategy, where in addition to her client reporting responsibilities, she oversaw Prima’s loan/asset surveillance function.  Prior to that, Julia spent two years at Barclays as a Director and lead strategist in the firm’s CMBS business. Julia also served as a co-editor of the quarterly produced by CREFC, the CMBS industry’s leading trade association.  Prior to that, Julia worked at Merrill Lynch (Bank of America) for eight years as a member of the firm’s real estate research team.

Julia received her degree from the Moscow Finance Academy (Economist with a Major in Finance and Credit and minor in Mathematics) and earned her MBA from the Harvard Business School.

Zachary Tcheyan is a Managing Director at Blue Owl and member of the GP Strategic Capital Investment Team. In his role, Zach focuses on sourcing and evaluating minority investments in private markets focused GPs.

Before joining Blue Owl, Zach was a Managing Director at Goldman, Sachs & Co., where he was a senior member on the Investment Team of the Petershill Funds, a GP Stakes platform, and a member of the Petershill Investment Committee, based in New York. In this role, his responsibilities included sourcing, negotiating, and executing transactions and managing relationships with partner GPs. Prior to that, Zach began his career in 2008 serving in various investing roles in the Investment Management Division at Goldman, Sachs & Co.

Zach received his B.A., with Honors,  in Economics and Music Composition from Bowdoin College.

Jon ten Oever is a Managing Director at Blue Owl and member of the Direct Lending Investment Team. In his role as Co-Head of Underwriting, he focuses on overseeing the day-to-day underwriting of technology investments.

Prior to Blue Owl, Jon was a Managing Director at Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC from 2007 until 2019. At Goldman Sachs & Co., Jon held several positions in the Americas Financing Group’s Leveraged Finance Group, including leadership of the TMT and Healthcare verticals. Prior to working at Goldman Sachs, Jon was a Vice President at Credit Suisse Securities (USA) LLC, in the Media & Telecom Group from 2000 until 2007 and an attorney at Sullivan & Cromwell LLP from 1997 until 2000.

Jon received a BA from Huron College at the University of Western Ontario and a JD from the Yale Law School.

Kurt Tenenbaum is a Managing Director at Blue Owl and member of the Direct Lending Investment Team. Based in Menlo Park, he is focused on helping lead the firm’s investing efforts in technology companies. Past and present portfolio companies include Blend, DoorDash, Relativity Revolut, Robinhood, SpaceX and Signifyd.

Before joining Blue Owl in 2019, Kurt was a Managing Director at Goldman, Sachs & Co., based in New York City where he ran Technology, Media & Telecom Leveraged Finance Capital Markets and Global Acquisition Finance within Investment Banking.

Kurt received a BSM in Finance from Tulane University and is a Charter Financial Analyst. Currently, Kurt serves on the Board of Directors for Signifyd and as a member of the Silicon Valley Advisory Committee of the Commonwealth Club of San Francisco.

Kierstyn Thayer is a Principal at Blue Owl and the Head of Citizenship. In her role, she focuses on building and executing the firm's strategy and programming for its philanthropy and employee volunteerism in the community.

Before joining Blue Owl, Kierstyn spent nearly two decades designing and leading revenue and growth strategies for high-impact nonprofits, most recently as the Chief Development Officer at The Opportunity Network (OppNet). Prior to that, she led development teams at The New School and SEO (Sponsors for Educational Opportunity). Kierstyn began her career at Teach for America.

Kierstyn received her BA in Child Development and Communications from Tufts University.
