Matt Buckley is a Principal at Blue Owl and member of the Tax Team. Before joining Blue Owl, Matt was the Tax Director at Atalaya Capital Management, the predecessor firm to Blue Owl’s Alternative Credit team, where he focused primarily on tax structuring across the firm’s strategies. Prior to joining Atalaya, Matt was the Tax Director at Mack Real Estate Group, a vertically integrated, institutional real estate developer, operator, investor, and lender. Previously, he was the Tax Director at Garrison Investment Group, a multi-strategy alternative investment manager.

Matt began his career with PwC in the Real Estate Asset Management practice. Matt holds a BS with a concentration in Accounting from Monmouth University and an MA in Taxation from Rutgers University.

Justin Burns is a Managing Director at Blue Owl and member of the Alternative Credit Investment Team. In his role, he is responsible for sourcing, underwriting, executing, and managing investments, primarily within asset-based opportunities.

Before joining Blue Owl, Justin was a Managing Director at Atalaya Capital Management, the predecessor firm to Blue Owl's Alternative Credit team, where he was a senior member of the Financial Asset investment team. Prior to that, Justin was an investment banking analyst at Citigroup where he covered the Power & Utilities sector.

Justin received his BS in Business Management with concentrations in Finance and Corporate Reporting & Analysis from the Carroll School of Management at Boston College

Michael Burns is a Managing Director at Blue Owl and member of the Institutional Business Development Team. In his role, he focuses on working with the firm's current and prospective clients across Europe.

Before joining Blue Owl, Michael was an Executive Vice President at PIMCO, a global asset management firm focused on fixed income, private credit and real estate. He had several roles over 20 years at PIMCO, most recently as head of the UK, Ireland and EMEA Consultant Relations business. Prior to that, he was head of the Nordic Region. Michael began his career as an Analyst at TCW in the Mortgage-Backed and Asset-Backed Securities Group.

Michael received his BA in Economics from Boston College, where he was a Dean's List member. He also received an MBA in Finance from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. Michael is also a CFA charterholder.

Brent Butler is a Principal at Blue Owl and member of the Private Wealth Team. In his role, he is responsible for managing the firm’s strategic distribution partnerships in Canada.

Before joining Blue Owl, Brent worked at RBC for over 11 years in various roles, most recently within the Private Wealth division.

Brent received a Business Administration degree from Wilfrid Laurier University, where he graduated from the Honors Program. Brent is actively involved in a variety of nonprofit organizations, currently serving as Chief Operating Officer of the John Tavares Foundation and was a founding member of the Young Professional Committee for Ronald McDonald House Toronto.

Melissa Callahan is a Principal at Blue Owl and member of the Corporate Marketing Team. Before joining Blue Owl, Melissa was an Events Manager at Warburg Pincus. Prior to that she was an Events Manager at White & Case LLP focusing on the firm’s event initiatives in North and South America.

Melissa received her BA in Communications from James Madison University.

Jerry Cammarata is a Managing Director at Blue Owl and member of the Finance, Accounting & Operations Team. Before joining Blue Owl, Jerry was the Chief Financial Officer of Atalaya Capital Management, the predecessor firm to Blue Owl’s Alternative Credit team. At Atalaya, Jerry was responsible for all finance, accounting, operations and tax functions as well as chairman of the firm’s Valuation Committee and member of the firm’s Enterprise Risk Committee. Prior to joining Atalaya in 2012, Jerry was a Vice President with Torchlight Investors where he was responsible for the accounting and operations of various commercial real estate debt funds (both private and ’40 Act registered funds). While at Torchlight, Jerry also served as the firm’s Chief Compliance Officer. Jerry began his career as an auditor with Ernst & Young, LLP where he worked on audit engagements for hedge funds, private equity, and mutual funds of various strategies and sizes.

Jerry holds a BS in Accounting and an MBA in Accounting, Finance, and Taxation, both from Fairfield University. He is a New York State Certified Public Accountant.

Laurie Campbell is a Principal at Blue Owl and member of the Compliance Team. In her role, she focuses on implementation of the compliance program for the firm’s limited purpose broker-dealer.

Before joining Blue Owl, Laurie worked at Fieldpoint Private Securities, LLC and Vision Financial Markets, LLC in senior compliance roles. Prior to that, she was a mortgage securities analyst at CS First Boston Investment Management (which has evolved into a successor firm) and then spent six years as an institutional account management officer at BlackRock.

Laurie received her BS in Marketing and Management from NYU’s Stern School of Business.

Lee Campbell is a Managing Director at Blue Owl and member of the Finance, Accounting & Operations Team. In his role, Lee heads Accounting Policy and financial diligence for M&A activities.

Lee has 28 years’ experience and prior to joining Blue Owl he held positions at MetLife (2 years), AIG (10 years), PwC (10 years) and other auditing firms (5 years). At MetLife he led a team of 10+ people in Accounting Policy for investments, financial diligence for M&A activities & supported SEC reporting. At AIG he was the Global Head of Accounting Policy Team of 30+ people with locations in NYC, London, Houston, and Tokyo while overseeing financial diligence efforts for M&A activities and the Learning & Development Group. At PricewaterhouseCoopers he was a Senior Manager in audit and completed a three tour in the firm’s National Office.

Lee is a CPA in NJ/NY and received a BSBA in Accounting from Old Dominion University.

Shane Cantwell is a Managing Director at Blue Owl and member of the Liquid Credit Investment Team. In his role, he focuses on evaluating investment opportunities and capital markets coverage. 

Shane joined Blue Owl when they acquired the Wellfleet Credit Partners, the predecessor to Blue Owl’s Liquid Credit team, which he joined at its founding. Prior to that, he was a member of the leveraged loan capital markets team at Credit Suisse. 

Shane received his BA from Fairfield University.

Lamar Cardinez is a Principal at Blue Owl and member of the GP Strategic Capital Investment Team. In his role, he focuses on evaluating investment opportunities, underwriting transactions and capital raising for Blue Owl HomeCourt Partners Fund.

Before joining Blue Owl, Lamar was an Investment Banking Associate at Guggenheim Securities. Prior to that, Lamar was a member of the National Football League’s Junior Rotational Program where he worked in various media and business development roles.

Lamar received a BS in Business Administration from Northeastern University, where he graduated with honors and received an MBA from Cornell’s Johnson School of Business
