Chris Gates is a Managing Director at Blue Owl and member of the Institutional Business Development Team. In his role, he focuses on developing partnerships with institutional investors. 

Before joining Blue Owl, Chris was Head of Marketing and Investor Relations at Marblegate Asset Management, a distressed debt investment firm. Prior to that, he was a Managing Director at Tricadia Capital Management, a multi-strategy credit hedge fund, where he was responsible for leading the institutional business development effort. Prior to that, Chris was a member of the institutional sales team at Mariner Investment Group, where he oversaw the internal business development group. Earlier in his career, he was a member of the institutional marketing and client service group at Bear Stearns Asset Management. 

Chris received his BA in American Studies from Colby College, and holds the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst designation.

Grant Gaughrin is a Principal at Blue Owl and member of the Real Estate Investment Team. In his role, he focuses on capital markets and sourcing new investments.

Before joining Blue Owl, Grant began his career as an Investment Banking Analyst in the Financial Institutions Group at Keefe Bruyette & Woods, a Stifel company.

Grant received his BA in Economics, from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.

Tim Gaven is a Managing Director at Blue Owl and member of the Investor Operations Team. In his role, Tim serves as the Head of Investor Services.

Before joining Blue Owl, Tim was a Manager at the Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC), a financial services industry utility in Jersey City. Tim began his career as a Project Analyst at Bank of America Merrill Lynch.

Tim received a BA in Political Science with minors in Economics & International Business from Ramapo College of New Jersey.

Kimberly Genes is a Principal at Blue Owl and member of the Finance, Accounting & Operations Team. In her role, she focuses on the coordination and execution of the firm’s financial close process, including financial reporting and consolidation, as well as management of day-to-day accounting operations. 

Before joining Blue Owl, Kimberly was the North America Controller for Recordati Rare Diseases, a private-equity backed biotech company with a focus on endocrinology and oncology diseases. Prior to that, she was an Associate Director at Apollo Global Management, responsible for management company controllership with a specific focus on the Private Equity and Real Estate segments. Kimberly began her career as an auditor at PricewaterhouseCoopers. 

Kimberly received her BS in Accounting, magna cum laude, from Marist College and holds a CPA license in the state of New Jersey.

Sean Gilbride is a Managing Director at Blue Owl and member of the Direct Lending Investment Team. In his role, he supports the firm’s direct lending business by focusing on documentation negotiation.

Before joining Blue Owl, Sean was a Managing Director at Goldman Sachs in the investment banking division. Prior to that, he was a corporate attorney at Latham & Watkins LLP and Cravath, Swaine & Moore LLP.

Sean received a BA from Boston College and a JD from Fordham School of Law.

Ashley Gimbel is a Managing Director at Blue Owl and member of the Business Services Platform. In her role, Ashley leads the Digital Transformation practices including Operational Advisory which provides operational and technology-related best practices consulting to GP Strategic Capital Partner Managers and Data Science which provides robust analyses and investment insights powered by alternative data.

Before joining Blue Owl, Ashley was a Vice President at Credit Suisse within the Prime Brokerage Consulting group. Prior to that, she was a Senior Sales Consultant at Eze Castle Integration where she assisted managers with IT infrastructure design and business continuity plans.

Ashley received a BA in English from Stephen F. Austin University, where she graduated with honors.

Rich Goetze is a Principal at Blue Owl and member of the Institutional Business Development Team. In his role, he is focused on business development and client management for insurance companies and financial institutions in the US and Bermuda.

Before joining Blue Owl, Rich was a Principal at Varagon Capital Partners where he was responsible for the firm’s insurance solutions business. Prior to that, he spent five years at Goldman Sachs Asset Management (GSAM) where he was responsible for new business development and relationship management for US Life, P&C, Health and Reinsurance investors. Rich began his career in asset management at Swiss Re, where he focused on manager selection and portfolio management for Swiss Re’s general account.

Rich earned a Master of Science in Finance and BS in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from Villanova University.

Kris Gogola is a Principal at Blue Owl and member of the Finance, Accounting & Operations Team. Based in Chicago, he is focused on day-to-day accounting, finance, and operations of Blue Owl Real Estate's Close-End and Separate Account Funds. Before joining Blue Owl, Kris was a Senior Financial Reporting Associate at Invenergy LLC, a renewable energy developer and operator based in Chicago.

Kris received a BBA in Finance and Accounting from the University of Illinois at Chicago.

Jonathan Golan is a Principal at Blue Owl and member of the Finance, Accounting & Operations Team. In his role, Jonathan serves as a Controller for the Business Development Companies (BDCs).

Before joining Blue Owl, Jonathan was an Associate Director at CION Investments, an alternative asset manager based in New York City. Jonathan began his career in public accounting at Marcum LLP (fka Friedman LLP).

Jonathan received his BS in Accounting at Rowan University and is a certified public accountant in New Jersey.

Dennis Gorczyca is a Managing Director at Blue Owl and member of the Liquid Credit Investment Team. In his role, he focuses on evaluating investment opportunities in broadly syndicated, non-investment grade leveraged loans.  

Before joining Blue Owl,  Dennis was a Managing Director at Par-Four Investment Management (“Par-Four”) and Portfolio Manager of the Tralee CLO platform.  Prior to that role, he was a senior analyst focused on leveraged loan, high yield and distressed credits.  Before joining Par-Four, Dennis was at Fortress Investment Group where he evaluated leveraged loans and private equity investments for the legacy D.B. Zwirn portfolios.  Dennis began his career at Bear Stearns where he held a variety of roles including as an Associate in Merchant Banking focused on lower middle market private equity opportunities within the Bear Growth Capital Partners (BGCP) group and as an investment banking analyst.  

Dennis received his MBA from Columbia Business School and graduated Magna Cum Laude from Bucknell University with a BS in Business Administration.
